In a report titled “Marine Litter: A global Challenge”, the United Nations Environment Program says the oceans will continue to fill up with junk discarded from cities and boats causing “tremendous” negative impacts on coastal life and ecology. Urgent action is needed to address this buildup of marine debris. My husband and I walk the beach every day, this is what we pick up most. The message is THE BOTTLE – to stop littering our oceans.
