Blue lobster shell found on Risser’s Beach, Nova Scotia.
I find a lot of blueish lobsters on the beach – mostly in The Bahamas – I think it has something to do with the temperature when, or just after they die?.. not that they are the ‘rare’ blue caused by a particular protein from a genetic defect.
Breaking on Our Shores. The sea tumbles and churns, bringing up shells and debris from the ocean’s floor. I find these treasures walking the beaches at home in Nova Scotia or in the Bahamas.
The waves are created with fusion silk and stitched with 7 colours of enameled copper metal threads, the shells, etc. are gilded with 24 karat gold leaf.
