Old and tired, with worn sails and no doubt a weary crew, a schooner sails silently though the fog, heading for home port.
This piece is created double-sided on stainless 400micron steel mesh – one side gold the other silver. It is mounted top and bottom on stainless rods that are bolted to 1/2″ square acrylic rods. These photos were taken before I distressed the metal threads to create the ‘worn’ look to the sails.
